In keeping with the desire to bring together modern and contemporary thought, the Problem of Evil in Modern and Contemporary Thought project is sponsoring the translation of two important works of the early modern period:

- Pierre Bayle's Entretiens de Maxime et de Themiste (Dialogues of Maximus and Themistius)
